Door King 1812 / ksu question?
I installed a Door King model # 1812 in intercom mode to work with a Digitech ksu type telephone system with Comdial telephones. The Digitech is a 8 station system with a max of 4 c.o. lines. 3 c.o. lines are being used already so I have room for my intercom (phone out) lines from the Door King 1812 to be wired to the 4th c.o. line. My question is does the Digitech have to be programmed to allow the Doorking system to work with it ? If so, what must I do?.

As long as the Doorking is providing talk battery for the trunk, you only have to put CO4 into it’s own trunk group. That will keep your door out of the dial 9 access
Outside of that, mapping (which by default should already be) the 4th trunk into each phone and programming the sets you want to ring should be just about all you need to do.
